A time critical tactic, water rescue is driven by the short duration in which to safely search for and recover the person(s) at risk of loss of life. Sadly, there have been many recent drowning experience events, some high profile, where ‘Locating’ the person(s) was not possible in the critical timeframe. This latest ‘WaterSave’ where search and rescue and small craft practitioners, tactical and operational responder representatives from lifesavers, fire and rescue services, police/law enforcement, public service agencies, HART and emergency medical services are encouraged and invited to attend.
Tactical improvements in water rescue and small boat SAR are incremental but may have great impact, come see and experience a current snapshot that we have curated from fresh technology usage and research.
The workshops are intended to facilitate an opportunity for the attendee to receive Technical update information from the industry, following which an opportunity to view on-water demonstrations of the technology at the nearby Port Of Poole Marina. Which we hope will enable participants to benefit from getting an insight into innovations, technologies and impact, that will help shape improved future water rescue and small craft SAR operational tactics and SOPs.
