Asap’s watersports customers love using their Wave Jam jet board to explore their environment

Asap water crafts manufacture small jet boards you lay on and blast you through the water at speed. An incredible body boarding/surfing experience, without the need for waves! Selling globally, Asap’s customers love using their Wave Jam jet board to explore their environment, beaches and islands from their yachts. Boat owners love how their Wave Jam jet board can be carried or on your back to the water and launched almost anywhere.

Originally designed as a Rescue jet board – as a student, inventor Ross Kemp took part in lifesaving training at Loughborough University, where he soon realised how difficult it was to rescue somebody in water. Fascinated with Rescue equipment, Ross noticed that small boats and jet skis can be slow and cumbersome to launch. This led him to develop the first Rescue electric jet board, launching Asap water crafts in 2013.

Whilst testing their Rescue jet boards, the team at Asap water crafts soon realised the fun of blasting through the water at speed. This led to the launch of their Wave Jam model electric jet boards, the ultimate boating family gadget!

Managing Director of Asap water crafts, Ross Kemp, said, “We are really excited to have partnered with ProRescue in Poole. They are very well respected in the Rescue and Marine industries, as well as being perfectly placed at Cobb’s Quay Marina in Poole to showcase our electric jet boards to both Rescuers and boat owners.”

Asap’s electric jet boards also caught the attention of Sir Richard Branson, after Ross launched Asap water crafts on the BBC TV Show Be Your Own Boss. Branson comments, “I have a deep passion for protecting the ocean but I am also familiar with the dangers they hold. I have had my share of close shaves and have been rescued from sinking boats and balloons many times, even had to swim for shore once clinging to a plank of wood. I think the Asap watercraft is a fantastic invention and will be a wonderful success. Anything that can help lifeguards reach drowning casualties faster must be a good thing.”

This summer from their harbour side location at MDL’s Cobb’s Quay Marina in Poole, ProRescue will be offering Asap water crafts Rescue and Wave Jam electric jet boards to customers. ProRescue are acclaimed rescue advisors, an RYA recognised training centre and trainers of emergency services. Their aim is to be the go-to location in Poole for Asap’s Wave Jam and Rescue jet boards.

After ‘Lockdown’ ProRescue will be running demo days for boat owners, looking for the latest water toy for this summer, and training days for rescue professionals using Asap’s rescue jet board models. You can find out more in advance by emailing:
